These embodied practices are designed to reconnect you with your body, soul, & spirit while gently guiding you back into the “land of Milk & Honey”- that sacred space within yourself where you feel rooted & grounded in the sweetness of God’s grace.

It is my prayer for you, sweet friend that you might rediscover yourself here and be deeply nourished by God's grace. That no matter where you are along your spiritual journey, may Love guide you home. Above all, I pray that you come to know this Love not just in your head, but deep in your soul and in the marrow of your bones.

Spiritual Director & Meditation Guide

Hi. I’m Kate, the “wilderness companion” you didn’t know you needed until just now.


I’m a certified Spiritual Director, Yoga Teacher & Meditation Guide. I journey with people like you through life’s “wilderness seasons.” Those seasons where life has thrown you for a loop and you’ve lost sight of yourself or your faith. Friend, my life’s calling is to walk with you. Not as a coach or a therapist or teacher.


But as a companion for the road.


My passion for holistic faith & spiritual wellness comes from different areas of my own testimony. I started practicing yoga in 2009 while healing from my own spiritual trauma. I later battled autoimmune disease in 2016 and megachurch burnout soon after. 


I know firsthand what it’s like to be lost and alone in the wilderness of my own thoughts- unaware of my own presence, let alone God’s.


With the help of a spiritual director (and a therapist) as well as embodiment practices like contemplative prayer, meditation, journaling and yoga, I slowly began to feel my way back to myself and into a rich and abundant life with God. Along the way, I felt a nudge that I was meant to guide others home, too. 


Friend, I don’t carry a map. And my role isn't to give directions. Instead, I simply hold space for Grace to meet you in your thoughts, emotions, breath and bone. I’m not afraid of mystery, big emotions, doubt-fiilled questions or traveling off the well-worn path for I know that Jesus loves to camp in these places and that his grace will guide you home.

Meditation can reduce stress by slowing racing thoughts, locating the breath, and connecting with God in the present moment.

Increases Self Awareness

Meditation gives opportunities to ask questions, feel emotions & notice sensations. Self-inquiry can reconnect you with your body, soul & spirit and increase your capacity to receive God's grace.

Eases Pain

Due to meditation's ability to reduce stress, those who practice regularly also tend to experience a reduction in pain caused by chronic stress & inflammation. 


Lifts Mood

Meditation can produce lasting positive emotions like joy, gratitude, a deeper sense of purpose, & overall well-being. These positive emotions release oxytocin & serotonin; two hormones that help us to feel a deep sense of God's love & connection.

Improves Sleep

Over time, those who meditate regularly often experience more peaceful sleep; discovering that their practice improves their ability to fall asleep and stay asleep. This occurs naturally as the nervous system begins to let go of tension in the body and heal from chronic stress & pain.

Statement of Faith

Friend, Milk & Honey Wellness believes that the path toward a rich & abundant life with God is found through God’s gracious Word, Jesus Christ. We are not created to journey through life apart from God's grace. Yet, the hustle and bustle of modern culture often leaves us stressed out, burned out and numbed out- unaware of our own presence, let alone His. These prayerful, guided meditation practices are designed to reconnect you with your body, soul & spirit and draw you into the sweetness of God’s grace through his Word.
