Milk & Honey Wellness Co. holds space for those on the head-to-heart journey toward God and true self. Here you’ll find space to retreat in the midst of daily life, rediscover the deepest parts of you and sweeten your connection with God. Milk & Honey offers online Spiritual Direction sessions (a.k.a. Soul Care), Ignatian Retreats, and prayerful, Guided Meditations in the Meditation Garden.
Each month in the Meditation Garden, we immerse ourselves in a small piece of scripture. Not to study it, but to explore it using the imagination, senses, somatic practices and Ignatian prayer exercises. Here, the Gospel stories become a sacred space for you to embark on a journey from head to heart and experience God along the way. These prayerful, guided meditations are soft, slow and filled with wide-open spaces. Allowing room for all the pieces and parts of you- your thoughts, emotions, breath and bone to come and be with God.
The work in these practices is to simply come and let God find you here. It is my hope and prayer that what you'll find here is a lush and lavish love; an openness with God and yourself that “flows with milk and honey.“ May you find a double portion of both grace and truth, sweetness and nourishment. A love that touches the bones.

A grounding practice that engages the senses, awakens the imagination and connects you with the Jesus of the Gospels.
Prayer of Examen
A daily, weekly or monthly practice led by memory. This practice holds space for you to notice personal connections with the scriptural theme and discover the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life.
An imaginative, heart-to-heart conversation between you, a character in the month's scriptural theme and Jesus himself. Space is held for self expression and reflection.
Prayer of Repetition
A curious return to the monthly Gospel story; approaching with an openness for God to offer new insights into the scriptures and how it's speaking to you on a deep & personal level.
A slow and gentle yoga practice inspired by the month's scriptural theme. This easeful practice holds space for you to embody the scriptures and connect with God through breath and bone. It also offers opportunities to rest with God in his lush and lavish love.

Spiritual Director & Meditation Guide
Hi. I’m Kate, the “wilderness companion” you didn’t know you needed until just now.
I’m a certified Spiritual Director, Yoga Teacher & Meditation Guide. I journey with people like you through life’s “wilderness seasons.” Those seasons where life has thrown you for a loop and you’ve lost sight of yourself or God's presence. Friend, my life’s calling is to walk with you. Not as a coach or a therapist or teacher.
But as a companion for the road.
My passion for holistic faith & spiritual wellness comes from different areas of my own testimony. I started practicing yoga in 2009 while healing from my own spiritual trauma. I later battled autoimmune disease in 2016 and megachurch burnout soon after. I know firsthand what it’s like to be caught in a wilderness season- lost, disconnected and unsure of the way back.
Accompanied by a spiritual director and through embodiment practices like contemplative prayer, meditation, journaling and yoga, I slowly began to embark on my own journey from head to heart; feeling my way home. Along the way, I felt a nudge that I was meant to guide others home, too.
So, in addition to my own personal experiences, I'm certified in Spiritual Direction by Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction and am a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I have over 500 certification hours and 14 years of practice in vinyasa, yin, restorative and trauma sensitive yoga.
Friend, I don’t carry a map. And my role isn't to give directions. Instead, I simply hold space for God to meet you in your thoughts, emotions, breath and bone. I’m not afraid of mystery, big emotions, doubt-fiilled questions or traveling off the well-worn path for I know that Jesus loves to camp in these places and that his love will guide you home.
